On the subject of Brain

Gukki would like to take a moment to speak about Mukk-17, known aboard as "Brain." Gukki could not be more delighted about this whole situation if y'all paid me.

Brain is Gukki's favorite. Gukki has favorites. Gukki is aware this is not considered professional. Gukki does not care a lick.

Brain compliments Gukki several times a day. These compliments are sincere. Brain is incapable of insincerity. Brain has told Gukki, in the last cycle alone, that Gukki's robes are magnificent, that Gukki's voice is like a song from a moon, and that Gukki is "the coolest thing that has ever happened to Brain's life." Gukki cherishes these statements. Gukki keeps them in a small mental box. Gukki takes them out on bad days.

Mukk-01 finds Brain challengin'. Gukki understands. Gukki has therefore arranged for Brain to accompany Mukk-01 on all field expeditions, so that Brain may have adventures and Mukk-01 may have company. Mukk-01 has objected to this arrangement. Gukki has not reconsidered it. Gukki has sat with this decision. Gukki will not be movin'.
